Hello We are Road Safety Authority (RSA) Approved Driving Instructors offering Professional Driving Lessons to the People of Midleton. EDT is now required by all students and now you can get EDT from our Driving School. We have a dual Controlled vehicle so no need to worry if you are feeling nervous. Call us or Book On-Line www.drivingschoolmidleton.com 1. Apply for a theory test at www.theorytest.ie This will cost you €45 You will need to study the "Rules of the Road" in order to pass the test. There are a few locations around Cork where you can sit the test. You must answer 30 out of 35 questions correctly to be eligible for a Learner Permit. 2.Apply for a Learner Permit This will cost you €15 from the motor Tax office on Model Farm Rd. You will need to have an eye test done by your doctor You will also need a few other bits and pieces as listed on www.rsa.ie 3.Find an RSA driving Instructor like myself and complete a course of 12 driving lessons called EDT (essential driver training) You can work your lessons in around a schedule that suits you. Each lesson will cost €25 per hour if you book with us Each lesson covers a different element of driving You are blocked from doing your driving test until youve completed all 12 lessons and at least 6 months has passed from permit issue date. 4.When we are both happy that you can drive competently and safely...Apply for a driving test at www.drivingtest.ie This costs €85 and you can sit it as many times as it takes to pass. 5.You are then issued with a Full Driving Licence Again...back to the tax office to get this.
