Giraffe Childcare Lucan is situated adjacent to a busy shopping and residential area in Lucan, Co Dublin. Our purpose-designed centre is located in the Ballyowen Complex next to the doctor’s surgery.Giraffe Lucan caters for children from 3 months up to 12 years with both full, part-time and ECCE and CETS places available. There is also a bustling afterschool facility, providing after school care for children up to the age of 12 years with drop off and collection arrangements with 5 local schools. There is a large garden to the front of the building and another to the rear of the building. The children are encouraged to engage in plenty of growing activities in the gardens and enjoying plenty of time doing outdoor activities. Giraffe Lucan provides a diverse and enticing menu of healthy and nutritious meals and cater for children with allergies. All meals are freshly cooked on site by an in-house cook in our TUSLA approved facilities and local produce is sourced wherever possible.Staff are Garda vetted and have a minimum qualification of Fetac Level 5 and the centre is supported by the South Dublin County Childcare Committee.
